The University of Applied Sciences “Marko Marulić” in Knin is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Law on Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia and the European standard EN 301 549 V1.1.2 (2015-04). This law requires public sector websites to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

However, the website partially complies with the law, and there are some exceptions. For example, some images and links need a suitable description, and the contrast between the text and the image background on some pages is not good. To address these issues, the University will implement corrective measures to the maximum extent possible after additional training of employees who maintain the website.

This statement was created on September 23, 2020, in accordance with the Accessibility Declaration Template, and will be revised after eliminating the reasons why specific contents were inaccessible. The University will ensure that new websites fully comply with the stated norms and CARNET’s Guidelines for ensuring digital accessibility.
