Polytechnic ”Marko Marulic” in Knin was established by the Decision of the Croatian Government adopted on 09th June 2005. Regulation on the Establishment (OG 73/2005), defined the following activities of the Institution:
The primary task of Polytechnic ” Marko Marulić” in Knin was the education of experts oriented more towards practical applications aimed at the independent expert and the scientific method-specific training area. This training is geared towards the beginning of practice. For this purpose, the curriculum content of individual studies include theoretical and applied knowledge, including practice in appropriate work environments, depending on the profile of professionals who are educated.
Polytechnic ” Marko Marulić” in Knin began working in the academic year 2005/2006 and it was structured on the principle of departments as well as other institutions of higher education.
Professional studies last three years and their completion acquire 180 ECTS credits. They are consistent with the Bologna Declaration, which means that they enable the mobility of their students to other universities in the signatory countries of the Bologna Declaration and vice versa. After the graduation , our students can continue studies at the specialist professional studies under the specified transfer of ECTS credits.
